Apart from a few typos and one recipe that had ingredients listed odd (I think it was a raspberry dessert that had the flour mislisted), I really enjoyed the read. Also, a bit confusing is that they have "artificial sweeteners" in the avoid list - but then have Sucralose and Nutrasweet in the approved list. Both of the those are artificial sweeteners - and sucralose is a serious trigger for some people (including my husband)I did contact the publisher about this and they said they would look into it immediately. The recipes are simple, but not plain. I do plan on trying them slowly. Since I live with someone with IBS, it's helpful to have this book to help me avoid trigger foods. I'm also going to print off the encloses trigger lists for the restaurants we frequent. That was a nice addition.

Essential IBS Cookbook 200 Delicious IBS Meals To Manage Symptoms Of IBS Lasselle Press 9781911364986 Books Reviews
great cookbook
Great book for learning the basics about eating clean. I was diagnosed with Celiac 8 years ago- I had this book then. The overview and knowledge for those at the beginning of their clean eating journey is good, and the recipes are great for everyone!
Very good cookbook with lots of nutritional information about IBS.
I have been following a low FODMAP diet for about a year now. It has helped me tremendously with my IBS. I notice when I start to fall off the wagon, so does my good health! My IBS comes back with a vengeance! I have been looking for some new recipes, and this book is great! There are many new ideas for foods in this book. It is keeping cooking interesting again!
Having family that suffers from IBS, I was very excited to thumb through this cookbook. The introduction to this cook book gives a very good overview of IBS, and supports the recipes in the book, but suggesting diet changes to help with symptoms. I was impressed with all the recipes and the simplicity of the recipes that allow even the novice cook the ability to make them. There were a few things that I would have preferred to see improved in this cookbook. I would have liked to see photos of at least 1/3 of the recipes, opposed to none. Additionally, I did find typos, miss alignment with ingredients and directions, and missing ingredient lists for recipes. I would advise the author to review the book closer. Overall, I will be sharing the recipes with family that suffers from IBS.
IBS Slow Cooker Cookbook and IBS Cookbook, intros and overviews are very much repeated. It repeats the symptoms and how it IBS is triggered.
Recipes on location 944 Italian Turkey Patties , location 1719 Loaded Potato Skins , location 2574 Spinach and Feta Fusilli - has no list of ingredients.
Although this book has many more recipes, it would be beneficial to have more than 4 photos of finished recipes. Perhaps some reviewer photos could be featured in the updated ebook. If I were the author I would have combined all the recipes from the 2 IBS books, into one. Since the topic intro and information is pretty much the same.
Overall, I was impressed by the variety of recipes included in this cookbook. Many were extremely easy to follow and did not take long to make. There are so many recipes, you'll definitely find a dish you'll love! The Fresh Ginger Chicken Salad and Chicken Meatballs & Rice have been two of my favourite dishes thus far.
There were a few ingredients on the ok list that I've been advised to avoid, such as barley and buckwheat. I was also a little disappointed how many of the breakfast recipes had seeds (chia, pumpkin, etc) in them as this has been another food I've been advised to stay away from. However, the recipes still tasted great when omitting those ingredients.
There were a couple dishes that did not have an ingredients list which was disappointing because they were dishes I cannot wait to try. Other than a few grammatical errors, the cookbook is definitely worth reading. The recipes differed from most IBS cookbooks I've read which were a welcome relief.

Also, a bit confusing is that they have "artificial sweeteners" in the avoid list - but then have Sucralose and Nutrasweet in the approved list.
