The text of the poetry is fine and what I expected. I was disappointed that the only artwork was the cover Rackham print. I was hoping to replace an old Dover Press paperback version that had several different prints and small line-art sketches within the text. "Thrift" should have tipped me off, as well, that the paper would be low-end. As a replacement to the poems, it is a fine collection. As an addition to a library, disappointing.

This was an excellent introduction to Christina Rossetti's poetry. I had planned on buying a book that contained the complete writings of Ms. Rossetti, and someone recommended this as a good introduction. I agree! These poems are for the most part enjoyable to read and digest.

Goblin market is one of my favorite poems. This book stays true to the poet and gives the reader an easily accessible version of a great writers work.
The poems are lovely and interesting to read.
While this version contains all the wonderful poetry of the original, it possesses none of the immaculate artwork. If you're looking for a copy of The Goblin Market that's true to the original copy, this isn't it.
